Questions and Answers

Below you will find answers to many common questions about Trinity University 1869 Challenge.

What is the Trinity University 1869 Challenge?

The 1869 Challenge is your chance to give where it matters to you. For 1,869 minutes (or 31 hours), Tiger alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and friends will join together to impact the University in a big way. Choose the area that means the most to you at Trinity, whether that’s sorority and fraternity life, music, athletics, scholarships, or anything in between! This is your opportunity to support Trinity through the areas that you’re passionate about.

The 1869 Challenge takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 5 p.m. to Thursday, Oct. 11, at 11:59 p.m. CST. All gifts made during this time period will count toward the Challenge. This year, we are setting our sights high with a record-setting goal of 1,869 gifts! If we reach this goal, we will unlock an additional $50,000 from anonymous donors for scholarships. Every gift counts toward this goal, regardless of the amount.

Each Tiger's journey is unique, and your gift should reflect that. So, give where it matters most to you at Trinity, and help us make this day a historic success.

Why is it called the 1869 Challenge?
