Trinity University 1869 Challenge

Give Where It Matters To You

The 1869 Challenge is your chance to give where it matters to you. For 1,869 minutes (or 31 hours), Tiger alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and friends will join together to impact the University in a big way. Choose the area that means the most to you at Trinity, whether that’s sorority and fraternity life, music, athletics, scholarships, or anything in between! This is your opportunity to support Trinity through the areas that you’re passionate about.

The 1869 Challenge takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 5 p.m. to Thursday, Oct. 11, at 11:59 p.m. CDT. All gifts made during this time period will count toward the Challenge. This year, we are setting our sights high with a record-setting goal of 1,869 gifts! If we reach this goal, we will unlock an additional $50,000 from anonymous donors for scholarships. Every gift counts toward this goal, regardless of the amount.

Each Tiger's journey is unique, and your gift should reflect that. So, give where it matters most to you at Trinity, and help us make this day a historic success.

We did it!
Oct 12, 2018

Our collective community has raised more than half a million dollars! What happened in the last 31 hours was beyond our wildest dreams. We should have known that our Trinity alumni have no ceiling! With more than 2,800 gifts, you helped Trinity shatter two challenges–unlocking $70,180 for student scholarships and more than $500,000 to benefit the areas that matter most to you at Trinity!

No matter where you are in the world, you’re connected to your Trinity network for life and in these last 31 hours the strength of that Trinity network showed. Every gift makes a difference. For Trinity students and alumni, and the entire Trinity community, nothing is out of reach.

From the Klaudia and Paul Brace (Trinity parents of a 2020 Tiger) challenge to the Dean Tuttle in the Tower student challenge to the Howland, Eggen, and Pitts Fellowship for student summer research, you climbed higher than ever to make a life-changing impact for students and for Trinity that will leave its mark for years to come.
