What is I Heart TU and what is Philanthropy Week?
Each year, the Trinity University Student Ambassadors host events throughout campus that help the student community cultivate a culture of philanthropy and gratitude by thankging alumni donors, making gifts to the areas of campus they love, and paying it forward to current and future tigers by encouraging gifts to the areas of campus that directly impact students.
When can I make my gift to the area of campus I love?
The Student Ambassadors are hosting our annual I ❤ TU event from February 14th-16th, right in time for Valentine’s Day! This event gives you the opportunity to make a gift to support areas at Trinity you love and are passionate about. You can give only or in-person at the following events:
Student Ambassadors will host two exciting I ❤ TU events that will give you the opportunity to let the Trinity community know why you ❤ TU and make gifts (minimum $5) to the areas of campus you love!
Make a gift and receive cup of hot chocolate, a free TUSA hat, and other treats as long as supplies last.

Thursday February 16, 11:00 - 1:30 PM Coates Lobby
Thursday February 16, 5:00 - 6:30 PM Mabee Dining Hall
Each day, the top 3 organizations to raise the greatest amount will win $150, $75, and $50 for their organizations!
Join us to support what you love at Trinity and make a gift over the next week. We look forward to seeing you!
What if the area I want to give to isn’t listed?
Unfortunately, if your student organization is not registered with Student Life you cannot donate to it. However, feel free to donate to your major!

Who can participate?
Anyone is welcome to donate during I Heart TU! We are relying on the strength of our Trinity Network—including alumni, students, employees, former employees, families, and friends—to band together and make an impact for current and future tigers!
Can I designate my gift?
Yes! You can designate your gift to any area of campus.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, it is!
What's the giving minimum?
The minimum gift is $5.
Who is considered a Legacy?
If you and your parent or grandparent graduated from Trinity, you are a Legacy. If you graduated from Trinity and your child(ren) did too, you are a Legacy. If you and a sibling graduated from here, you are a Legacy.
