McNair Scholars Fund
McNair Scholars are current Trinity students who are first-generation or from underrepresented cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds who have demonstrated strong academic potential. The program prepares undergraduates for success in doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. Since 2007, the McNair Scholars Program has served more than 150 students at Trinity.
Beginning their sophomore year, McNair Scholars benefit from an array of academic and career counseling services, as well as paid summer research experience, expense-paid travel to research conferences, and assistance with GRE test preparation and graduate school applications.
